“How, human, you shall bow before me, lest I get angry with you.”
“And why should I do this?”
“You see my huge cranium?”
“Yes.”
“My species has evolved this cranium to house a huge brain. We are much more intelligent than you are. Resistance is futile. Bow, now!”
“I’m not convinced. I think, much like the beluga whale’s head hump, your cranium is just housing extra fat.”
“Extra fat! Who told you this? Give me the name of the traitor, or else!”
“Thank you for confirming. I was guessing.”
“Damn! How did you guess?”
“Easy. When we asked you why you came here you said it was to steal all of our water.”
“So?”
“During your interstellar travel you passed much bigger reserves of water, all of it ready for the taking, thereby proving that you’re not as sharp as you pretend to be.”
“Drats! It is our AI who suggested we come here and steal your water! I should never have trusted our AI with this mission.”
“And another thing?”
“What’s that?”
“You’re standing on a land mine. One false move… and you’re history.”
“Dammit!”
“I think this is the start of a long and beautiful friendship.”
